Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American broadcaster. She currently works as an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. She began working for ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. She is the daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta has been bilingual since the age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first post as a producer assistant at Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she was a producer of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her next assignment was an Sports Reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009, she moved to Texas into Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009, she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. In addition, she was frequently required to act as a sports or weather anchor. Then she became anchor and reporter on Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her larger responsibilities. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS as well as the World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. At some point they were moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has an elder sister. The family moved in 1992 to Mexico to the US and settled in Miami. In 1992, the couple divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she remarried Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. When on vacation Antonietta was staying at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten the job of his dreams. Antonietta was a senior high school student, but she was very aware of her goals for the future. She went to Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. It was a beautiful campus as well as offered the level of education she was looking for. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university with a degree studying media and communication studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a student in her class, formed a lasting relationship with the student. He encouraged her to be self-confident and also his love for journalism deeply influenced her, and she in turn, strived to fulfill his expectations and never failed him.
